Viktor & Rolf

Interview, Dec, 2002

Viktor & Rolf's fashion shows and collections are never boring. They're always driven by an idea, which the duo runs with like nobody's business. For instance: For their spring-summer 2003 collection presented in Paris this past fall they had their models dancing like crazy. It was a show packed with clothes that moved, and it was funny and wild--very different from what they did for their current fall-winter 2002-2003 collection.

The fashions pictured here and on the following pages are from that season, a collection based on a vitally important theme: that things don't have to be stuck or fixed. Viktor & Roll's collection is like a defense of the imagination, and it is serious. Good serious.
