In their ongoing search for inspiration, designers often bat an eye toward texture, be it fabrics featuring corrugations, folds, or pleats. This season, however, fashion's flirtation with the fold has taken a new turn, this time towards wayward wrinkles, riotous rumples, and devil-may-care crinkles.
While this may present great news for those who just can't get the knack of the hanger, there's one group for whom this latest development is more crushing than crush-inducing--your local dry cleaners, who may just have to pack up their steam irons once and for all.
