Interview, April, 2003 by Scott Lyle Cohen
(Gold Circle/Goldwyn)
Directed by Mars Callahan
Poolhall's plot is about as fresh as the air in the dives that host the film's primary action, but a cool young cast led by director-actor Callahan, Rick Schroder, and Michael Rosenbaum (of TV's Smallville), joined by an even cooler group of old-time heavies--Chazz Palminteri and cult heroes Christopher Walken and Rod Steiger--makes for an entertaining movie, destined to become a staple in frat house DVD libraries everywhere.
