Interview, August, 2000 by Thelma Adams
Directed by Harold Ramis
In this Faustian comedy, a loveless shlemiel (Brendan Fraser) makes a deal with the devil (played by Elizabeth Hurley and her damned body) in order to secure his dream girl (Frances O'Connor). Does the devil play fair? Of course not! Based on the hilarious Stanley Donen 1967 British comedy that cast Peter Cook as old hoof 'n' horns, Dudley Moore as the romantic loser, and Raquel Welch as Lust.
