Dandy Warhols. - Review - sound recording review

Interview, August, 2000 by Jane Ratcliffe

Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia (Capitol)

Those ever-darling Dandy Warhols can be so insistently bohemian, but dang they have a way with pop tunes. Though as fanciful as always, they have tightened up their trademark drone, resulting in a more consistent but no less wild trip. They begin godless and end with the gospel, and in between they pop some pills, mourn lost love, and, as one song states, "Get Off".
