Interview, Sept, 2003 by Matt Diehl

> These New York City blitzkrieg boppers display a familiarity with the "two R's" of rock--the Replacements and the Ramones--on their debut. But the Spangles transcend mere nostalgia, crafting an album that feels a lot like a Cameron Crowe movie: Beneath the fuzz, they just want to be rock stars.
