Paris's ears are burning - tete-a-tete between fashion designer Sonia Rykiel and music producer Malcolm McLaren

Interview, Sept, 1994 by Marcelle Katz

SR: What was it like compared to working with the Sex Pistols?

MM: It was more demanding because I had to deal with these strong women. You French women! The interaction was more emotional, and being heterosexual, that was a big thing for me. I was more nervous.

SR: Well, that's true, but you were very kind. Now, there's one favor I have to ask you. I want to make another song with you.

MM: [coughs] You will, my darling. You will.
