Tsunami ha-ha
Progressive, The, March, 2005
A New York radio station apologized for repeatedly airing a song that ridiculed victims of the Asian tsunami and used racial insults. New York FM radio station WQHT broadcast the piece on its "Miss Jones in the Morning" show. The segment had racist references to tsunami victims, made gags about child slavery, and mocked children who watched their mothers get killed in the disaster.
