Fiddlers for Earth First! - 10th anniversary of a bombing that killed two environmental activists - Brief Article

On May 24, dozens of fiddlers performed at the San Francisco Federal Building to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the car bombing of Earth First! activists Judi Bari and Darryl Cherney. Bari and Cherney were organizers against cut-and-run logging of California's old-growth redwood forests. Though the case has remained unsolved, a federal trial on behalf of Bari's estate (she died in 1997) and Cherney is scheduled for October 1, 2001.
