From a wire-service article, datelined Knoxville, Tennessee, on Collegiate Memorials, a Macon, Georgia, company that sells caskets adorned with the colors and logos of forty colleges: "In the six months since it began marketing funeral merchandise, company president Scott Walston said the Cornhusker and Vol casket models are the top sellers.

Tennessee is known for its enthusiastic--and spend-friendly--fans. Walston said the caskets cost from $2,800 to $3,200.... Bronze memorials emblazoned with a school name or logo sell for $2,200.... `Right now, this is probably a breath of fresh air for the funeral industry,' Walston said."
