From an article in The Washington Post on a House Government Reform Committee hearing on environmental regulation: When the subject of Canada geese on golf course came up, Chairman Dan Burton, Republican of Indiana, and an avid golfer, said: "They ought to all be shot." Representative Jo Ann D. Davis, Republican of Virginia, added: "No argument here."
