Yes ... It's another glorious New Year! Activities are in full swing, but where? A good new year's resolution is to keep your editor informed as soon as possible with the winners of contests, any changes in directors, or any new events coming up, etc. This way news is shared sooner with others in the division who are interested in "What's Going On!"
Information in the Journal
Are you making progress toward reaching your photographic goals? Do you want to raise your contest or competition scores and elevate your position in your club's standing? If your answer to the first question is "no" and the second is "yes", you may have overlooked the fine print in "Services & Activities" which appears in the PSA Journal in January, April, July and October.
The Color Slide Division is the largest interest group with a wide variety of techniques and services designed to help the beginner or advanced photographer. There are entertaining programs, contests and competitions, study groups, books and other instructional programs available for a nominal fee. If you have access to the Internet, PSA lists many photographic interests. www.psa-photo.org will open a whole vista of information and opportunities. Good hunting!
