In July 2003, Tan Lip Seng, FPSA, EPSA was featured by the National Television Channel in the "Self-Portrait II" of the Arts Central Channel on his life and achievement as a photographer. The artists selected for this program are all Cultural Medallion Recipients, which is the top award from the Government of Singapore. 12 people from different art categories were featured in this series of the program. Photography is included as one of the visual arts.
The Best of PSA International Representatives (IR) Exhibition was successfully exhibited in Singapore from November 28 - 30, 2003. Mr. Seng Han Thong, Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC was the Guest of Honor to open the Exhibition. Mr. Seng showed great interest in the exhibit.
The Best of PSA IR Exhibition in Singapore was presented by the Singapore Color Photographic Society (SCPS). In conjunction with this exhibition, a total of 300 color prints by members of SCPS were also exhibited. Eric Goh, APSA, one of the PSA IRs for Singapore is currently the President of the SCPS. The Exhibitions were sponsored by the Ngee Ann Cultural Center and supported by the National Arts Council.
Nusantara Photo Club (NPC), affiliated with PSA, held a members' exhibition entitled "Catching Light and Shadows" in the Singapore Kreta Ayer Community Club from August 15th to the 20th of 2003. The NPC was founded three years ago by a group of top photographers from Indonesia. In conjunction with the exhibition, the NPC also published a book with more than 200 full-page color reproductions of the exhibit. The exhibition in Singapore was sponsored by the China Town Photographic Club. Tan Lip Seng, FPSA, EPSA, is the Hon. President of the Nusantara Photo Club of Indonesia and the Hon. Advisor of the China Town Photographic Club of Singapore. The "Catching Light and Shadows" exhibition was also held in Bali, during the annual meeting of the NPC in October of 2003.
