#1--"Different Light for Different Subjects"
Alan Millward, FPSA, PPSA--West Midlands, England
Using mainly landscapes from various areas in the United Kingdom, Alan will show the way light affects photo subjects, giving them form, texture, and shape as well as showing color and detail. Using different lighting conditions to get the best effect with people and nature shuts will also be presented.
#2--"Portraiture My Way"
Elizabeth M. Keery, APSA--Bonita Springs, FL
Discussing her approach to photographing models, Liz will demonstrate lighting and other aspects of the sequence she uses, including exposure and composition. A few slides will be shown to illustrate the technique.
#3--"Photography at Home"
M. Craig Carver FPSA, PPSA--Portland. OR
Craig's program, designed to provide ideas for doing photography at home, will feature projects with many objects such as glassware, rocks, and flowers, as well as using mylar, black light, and various techniques to create a variety of images. This informative and entertaining program is for users of slides, negative color, and/or digital imaging.
#4--"Ambient Light"

How to use different types of lighting to your advantage will be demonstrated, along with understanding of the exposure meter. Mike will then explain the adjustments one must make for exciting visuals.

Discover the pristine beauty of this icy realm while exploring spectacular ice caves inside floating glaciers.
#2--"The World of Underwater Photography"

Here's a chance to view the ecologies and diversities of underwater marine life photographed over 18 years of diving in the Pacific Ocean, Red Sea, and the Caribbean. The Beguns will present the techniques and challenges of their exciting hobby, and show the equipment they use.
#3--"The Bears of Katmai"

Come to the Aleutian coastal area in Alaska to see the various bears of Katmai National Park. Carol will show the lives of the bears from the cub stage to adulthood, as well as the outstanding scenery of the area.
#4--"Wildflowers of West Virginia"
Anthony Winston, APSA Morgantown, WV
Discussing the techniques of photographing wildflowers, Tony will show us the many varieties found in the state of West Virginia, as well as the surrounding Appalachian area. Also presented will be the problems encountered in shooting these beauties.
#5--"South African Wildlife and Landscape"

This presentation features images and stories sharing the wonder of the natural world interlinked by Barrie's personal anecdotes and photographic experiences.
#6--"Nature Division Essays"

View the award winning nature essays in the two entry categories: General Nature Essay and Conservation Essay. The number of winners will depend on the number of entries shown.

Carol-Ann will take us through the steps required to prepare a slide presentation on any type of subject. Her presentation covers selecting the slides, planning the sequences, choosing appropriate music, and preparing a complete script with all these points illustrated in a slide show.

Join Don Lyon exploring the rich culture and the beautiful people, along with the landscapes, of Nepal's Katmandu Valley and the hidden Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan.
