Topic: RSS FeedAre There "Photo Ops" on Cruise Vacations?
PSA Journal, July, 1999 by Jean Timmermeister
Can you find good images by taking a cruise liner and stopping so briefly at a variety of islands? A stop of just four or five hours or one of seven or eight hours is not ideal, of course, but planning ahead is the key to separating snapshots from better photos. Simply signing on to a cruise and hoping for a chance at photographs will not produce as satisfactory a result as being prepared.
If you are ready for wonderful weather, lots of opportunities for outstanding food, wearing summer clothes in the winter, night club entertainment, experiencing a foreign country albeit briefly, plenty of good shopping, as well as photographs you will enjoy, try a cruise--but please, no complaints about the extra pounds from the great food!
