German Photographer Selected For IPHF Duratrans
Cornelia Dorr is the featured photographer for the latest Duratrans image at the Photography Hall of Fame and Museum. Her photograph, Glacier Grey, was taken in 1991 during a visit to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile.
Dorr's awards include the 2001 Nature's Best Magazine first place award in landscape category and first place in the plant category of the 2002 European Nature Photo Competition. Her photography has also been published in magazines and books.
The Duratrans image measures an incredible 26 by 6 feet and is on display for one year at the entrance of the IPHF. This is the first time the IPHF Duratrans was printed digitally--it is sponsored by Hewlett Packard and Nature's Best Magazine.
Commemorative prints are available. Call (405) 424-4055 or e-mail info@iphf.org for more information.
Nature's Best International Photography Awards Exhibit
The IPHF is hosting the Nature's Best International Photography Awards exhibition July 12-Sep. 30. The exhibit was first viewed at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History last October during the annual awards ceremony.
Not only will visitors be able to buy one of these award-winning images (previously unavailable), an interactive kiosk from Hewlett Packard and Artful Technologies enables visitors to choose images to print and take with them.
Preview the Nature's Best Images at www.iphf.org. Images may be ordered by phone, (405) 424-4055 or by e-mail: info@iphf.org. The exhibition will be available for other venues to host.
