CyberSchoolBus into the Millennium

UN Chronicle, Winter, 1999

A millennium project for young people, organized by the UN Department of Public Information and ePALS Classroom Exchange, solicits ideas and action plans on how to make the world a better place for everyone. Students are encouraged to report on actions undertaken between 10 December 1999 and 10 December 2000 to make a difference in their communities and beyond.

"Use your imagination and creative energy to come up with projects that you could work on with your friends in school and in the neighbourhood," says Nane Annan, wife of Secretary-General Kofi Annan. The actions will be compiled and issued as a report.
