Few would call her politically astute, but Democratic diva Barbra Streisand fared better on Election Day than most pundits. Streisand campaigned for three Senate candidates: John Kerry of Massachusetts, Max Baucus of Montana, and Alex Sanders of South Carolina. Only Sanders lost. Nevertheless, Streisand's protege and pen pal, House Minority leader Dick Gephardt, resigned.
