Correction
Washington Monthly, Jan-Feb, 2003
In last month's article "Comparative Advantage" (December), Nicholas Confessore wrote that the former editorial page editor of The Wall Street Journal was Robert Bartlett. The correct name is Robert Bartley. Additionally, economist Laura D'Andrea Tyson was a professor at the University of California at Berkeley in the early 1990s, not at Stanford University.
Finally, George W. Bush was previously the general partner the Texas Rangers baseball team, not the general manager, as Confessore had written.
