Novak is an island

It is always amazing to watch the national media tiptoeing around Bob Novak ("Bob in Paradise" by Amy Sullivan, December 2004). Friend of theirs or not, the man is wrong; he outed an agent. It is unfortunate that no one is holding him accountable. However, this seems to be the prevailing mood in Washington, where a congressman can break campaign finance laws and still come out like a rose.

So much for moral values--apparently they only apply to everyone outside the Beltway.

Just because Novak will not talk about Valerie Plame doesn't mean other journalists can't talk about her, and about him. There is one question that would put everything into perspective:

Answer: He'd have called for Katrina's arrest as a traitor.
