Brott Back Again

In 1988 conductor Boris Brott founded a ten-day music festival in Hamilton, Ontario. Over a decade later, the Brott Music Festivals have not only become an Ontario summer fixture, but they extend over the entire holiday period of July and August and have spread out from the city of Hamilton proper to include events at nearby locations like the romantically beautiful Chateau des Charmes Vineyard at Niagara-On-The-Lake.

One of the program highlights for this year's edition is a Beethoven Festival, featuring pianist Anton Kuerti offering a marathon of the famous composer's stirring concerti. Other programmes include the idyllic Music in the Muskokas and the charming High Tea and History.
