Performing Arts & Entertainment in Canada, Summer, 2000
> YTV's energetic YTV Achievement Awards had their 11th broadcast last May 28. The upbeat event honours amazing Canadian kids from across the country in categories ranging from business to sports to public service to the arts. This year's winners from the performing arts areas were Montreal's Lawrence Arcourette, age 16 (Acting); Calgary's 1 9-year-old singer/songwriters Tegan and Sara (Musical Group); Surrey's 19-year-old Cody Green (Dance), 12-year-old violinist Caitlin Tully from Vancouver (Instrumental) and 17-year-old breakdancer Jesse Van Rooi from Toronto (Specialty Performance).
