Ice-T sells his L.A. home for $2 million

Jet, Sept 1, 2003

Famed rapper-actor IceT, co-star of the popular detective drama "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," recently sold his home in Hollywood Hills section of L.A. for $2 million, slightly below the $2.2 million asking price.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the buyer was Los Angeles business owner Lann Neimeyer.

Ice-T reportedly put the house on the market because he's spending more time in New York where the TV series is filmed. He has a residence there.

The popular entertainer originally purchased his L.A. home in 1992 for about $1.2 million, the Wall Street Journal reports. The three-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot contemporary sits on just under one-third acre. Since that time he made additions which included a four-room recording studio. It also features a master bedroom suite with sun deck and an indoor-outdoor pool.
