Henry Dix, senior manager, post office operations for the U.S. Postal Service Philadelphia Metropolitan Performance Cluster, was appointed postmaster for the city of Philadelphia. Dix, who began his postal career in 1976 as a clerk/carrier, now manages 62 stations, postal retail stores and branches that employ nearly 3,000 people and service 712,000 residents and businesses in Philadelphia.
