> Just as Black leaders reluctantly accepted the Democrats' excuses for the recent election losses, Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Chairman Mel Watt (D-NC) dropped a powerful bomb. At a press conference, the head of the largest-ever 43-member aggregation announced he "would promote the group's issues with whoever is willing to listen." The message: Republicans are welcome to join the CBC vote efforts.
