At a torrid pace of 300 fund-raising and speaking requests a week, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) has become Capitol Hill's most idolized lawmaker, according to Roll Call Newspaper. Trying to reduce the demand while he learns the ways of the upper body, the Chicagoan described as "the hottest property the Democrats have," says that he does much of his fund-raising by telephone.
