Friends Of 76ers Star Allen Iverson Arrested In His Car After Alleged Drug Deal

Two long-time acquaintances of Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson were using his car when they were arrested after allegedly completing a drug deal, Norfolk VA, police said.
Michael Powell, 29, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, a felony. Andre Steele, 27 was charged with possession of marijuana.
Iverson was not present nor implicated in any drug activity. However, po]ice have filed papers to take possession of Iverson's new car, a Mercedes-Benz coupe, under a state law that allows cars used in drug activity to be permanently confiscated.
