L.A. Post Office renamed in honor of Ray Charles

L.A. POST OFFICE RENAMED IN HONOR OF RAY CHARLES: The West Adams Station Post Office in Los Angeles has been officially renamed the Ray Charles Post Office Building in honor of the late musical genius Ray Charles. Joining in the renaming ceremony, are his family members and other officials (l-r) Ray Robinson Jr., John Hill, Los Angeles District Manager William Almaraz, Los Angeles Postmaster James A.

Smith, Congresswoman Diane E. Watson, Rev. Robert Robinson, Raenee Robinson, David Robinson, Sheila Robinson, Corey Robinson and Inglewood City Councilman Ralph Franklin.
