O.J. `Road Rage' Case
Jet, Feb 26, 2001
O.J. `ROAD RAGE: Former football star O.J. Simpson and his attorney, Yale Galanter, talked to reporters at a news conference after O.J. was bailed out of the Miami-Dade County Jail in Miami, FL. Simpson surrendered to authorities on charges stemming from an alleged December road-rage argument in which a motorist accused him of reaching into his car and pulling off his glasses.
Simpson is charged with burglary of a car, a felony carrying a possible 15-year term, and a misdemeanor battery, punishable by up to a year behind bars. However, State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said Simpson would probably not serve any time if convicted.
