Beyonce, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott and 50 Cent won top honors this year during the recent 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
Beyonce took home three awards: Best R&B Video, Best Female Video and Best Choreography in a Video, all for the song Crazy In Love, featuring rap star Jay-Z. Missy won Best Video of the Year and Best Hip-Hop Video for the song Work It, Hot new rapper 50 Cent won Best New Artist in a Video and Best Rap Video for In Da Club.
Actor-comedian Chris Rock hosted the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
