Veteran actor Billy Dee Williams and sultry actress Robin Givens are winning rave reviews for their starring roles in the inspirational musical play, If These Hips Could Talk.

The musical, which is on a national tour, focuses on four women who appear to have it all together, but whose struggles mirror those of women all over the world. They are seemingly functional women who have deep-seated, underlying emotional pain that threatens to rip apart the very fiber of their lives.

When these four women decide to "tell all," the stage is set for some uncut and uncensored "Sister girl" bonding. From sexual promiscuity to abusive relationships and obsessive dieting to marital infidelity, If These Hips Could Talk explores real issues and provides some real answers.

Williams stars as Mr. Washington, a suave, shrewd business tycoon who is the president of a TV network. He is dedicated to boosting the ratings of the talk show, HIPS TALK.

Givens plays Simone, one of four talk show hosts, who uses her sex appeal as a means of manipulating people to get what she wants in the corporate world. She has her sights set on seducing Mr. Washington so that she can get a promotion.

The play was written and produced by renowned writer, director and producer Angela Barrow-Dunlap. Her production company Faith Entertainment, also produced the hit play, Why Do Good Girlz Like Bad Boyz?

If These Hips Could Talk is on a whirlwind tour with a recent stop in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theatre and at JET press time was on its way to Oakland, then Memphis, and Detroit.

The musical has been touring since January 2003 and has featured such stars as Tichina Arnold, Lisa Raye, Darrin DeWitt Henson and Chante Moore.
