* 100 YEARS YOUNG!: On September 2 Mrs. Rosa Belle Myers, who is fondly referred to as "Momma Rose," celebrated her 100th birthday with family members and close friends. The Erie, PA, resident and her late husband Jefferson Davis Myers were married for a total of 57 years. From that union the couple was blessed with six daughters and six sons.

During her more active years, Mrs. Myers enjoyed singing in her church choir at Holy Trinity COGIC and gardening in her yard. She is the grandmother of 35, the great-grandmother of 48 and the great-great-grandmother of 13.
