Jet, March 18, 2002
In the Feb. 25, 2002 JET, the caption for a photo featuring retired football quarterback Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills and other future NFL Hall Of Fame inductees mistakenly identified Kelly as a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. Kelly was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1983 draft and went on to lead the Bills to the playoffs eight times, in 17 playoff game appearances, including four consecutive Super Bowls.
At the time of his retirement, he was the sixth all-time passer with 35,467 career passes, 2,874 completions and 237 touchdowns. JET regrets the error.
