Jet, March 18, 2002
Elliott S. Hall, Ford Motor Company's first Black vice president and its former vice president, Washington affairs and dealer development, has rejoined Dykema Gossett PLLC Detroit and Washington, D.C., offices as a member.
Hall will join the firm's Government Policy and Practice Group, one of the Midwest's largest lobbying and legislative affairs practices covering federal, state and local governments. He will concentrate on legislative and regulatory issues faced by manufacturing companies, in particular auto suppliers, as well as international corporations and local municipalities.
Dykema Gossett is one of the oldest and largest law firms in the U.S.
Hall left Dykema Gossett, where he first worked as a member of the Litigation Practice Group, in 1987 to join Ford. At Ford, he played a major role in growing the company's minority dealer network-of Asians, Hispanics, African Americans and native Americans--into the largest such network in North America. He was also a major voice for the company in federal regulatory and legislative issues as vice president, Washington affairs.
