In the April issue of EBONY, superstar singer/actress Toni Braxton gives an exclusive interview about the new man in her life who is keeping her up at night, her 3-month-old son, Denim.

The six-time Grammy Award winner and her husband, Keri Lewis, a former member of the music group Mint Condition, say that the birth of their first child, Denim Kole Braxton Lewis, has changed their personal world forever.

The happy couple, who had a fairy-tale wedding last April, share the first public photos of their new bundle of joy, explain the origin of the baby's unique name and discuss their plans for the future.

The April EBONY also shines the spotlight on 25-year-old Jeffrey Atkins, known in the world of hip hop simply as Ja Rule.

The Grammy-nominated rap artist whose latest CD, Pain is Love, entered the charts at No. 1, talks about his beginnings in the music industry, career plans and his love for his wife and children in "Ja Rule: Rap Star Rules Hearts & Charts."

If you are among the millions of families bringing together cousins, aunts and uncles this summer to celebrate your ancestral tree, then "How to Plan the Best Family Reunion" is a must-read for you.

When it comes to affairs of the heart, some wrong moves can be forgiven and forgotten, but not all of them. In the April issue love experts give readers some friendly advice on what type of sticky situations to avoid in "Relationship Moves You'll Regret Later."

Other articles to look for in the April EBONY are the "Black College Queens 2002," "Blacks Who Own Jets" and a candid stow about sexual assault in "Rape and Recovery: Survivors Speak Out."
