Legendary singer and songwriter Smokey Robinson recently put his longtime Los Angeles home on the market for $2.5 million.

The Hot Property section of the Los Angeles Times reported that Robinson bought the home in 1989 and has had extensive remodeling that took about three years. The paper said the 62-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist will get married in May and wants to start his new life with a new home.

The home he's selling is in the elegant Encino section of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. It was built in 1912, sits on 1.7 acres and has five bedrooms in 6,200 square feet.

The paper reported that the Southern Colonial-style home has a sun room, a waterfall, stream, two fountains, pool and spa, gazebo, guest house, gym, putting green, a motor court and a four-car garage.
