BMI URBAN AWARDS: BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.), the national performing rights organization, saluted recently this year's hottest R&B, rap and hip-hop songwriters, producers and publishers at its annual Urban Awards ceremony held at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Joseph "Rev. Run" Simmons (above, l) of the pioneer rap group Run DMC checks outs his BMI Urban Icon award.
