National Minority AIDS Council

Alphonce J. Brown, Jr., former vice president of development for the National Academy of Public Administration in Washington, D.C., has been named director of development for the National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) in D.C. In the post he will incorporate fund-raising practices to assist in bolstering NMAC's programs. The Council, founded in 1987, develops leadership in communities of color to address challenges of HIV/AIDS there.
