Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications

Lorraine Branham, director of the School of Journalism and G.B. Dealy Regents Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, has been named dean of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Syracuse, NY, effective July 1. It is one of the nation's premiere schools of mass communications, with a student enrollment of approximately 2,000.
