BRIDGEWATER HONORED: Grammy and Tony Award-winning jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater is awarded a medal by French culture minister Christine Albanel from France's prestigious Order of Arts and Letters in Paris. Bridgewater, who has spent many years in France, was named a commander in the Order, one of its highest ranks. She shares the honor with two other Americans, director Clint Eastwood and choreographer William Forsythe. After being honored, Bridgewater sang J'ai Deux Amours (Two Loves Have I), a song made famous by Josephine Baker, who spent most of her life and career in France.
