The groom, a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, is a science-lab teacher in the Chicago Public School system. They honeymooned in Paris, France.
* Blessed 75: Early Harris, Sr. and Lucy Belle Harvey-Harris celebrated 75 years of marriage at the Bradley Arkansas Community Building in Bradley, AR. Mrs. Harris, 92, was a housewife. Mr. Harris, 94, retired as a farm owner and school bus driver. He has been a deacon at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church for 70 years. The couple has seven children; one is deceased. They have 32 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

The groom is a systems engineer for Compucom in Laurel, MD. Nassau, Bahamas, also served as the honeymoon spot for the newlyweds.
