Wiley D. Thompson III, special agent in charge of the St. Louis office of the FBI, has been approved as the assistant director of the FBI in charge of the Inspection Division in Washington, D.C. His department is responsible for the review of investigative and administrative programs of the FBI to ensure their effective compliance with objectives, governing laws, rules, regulations and policy.

Judith Thomas, co-chairperson of the Larry King Cardiac Foundation in Vienna, VA, was named executive director of the Foundation. She is responsible for expanding the fund-raising efforts of the foundation by coordinating new events designed to maximize donations that enable the foundation to underwrite more lifesaving operations.

Roland Poindexter, vice president, programming and development for FOX Kids Network in Los Angeles, has been promoted to vice president, head of programming. In the newly created position, he will oversee the day-to-day management and administration of all programming and development for FOX Kids.

Patricia A. McQuater, senior corporate attorney for Solar Turbines Inc. in San Diego, has been named chairperson of the Port of San Diego Board of Port Commissioners. She is the first Black woman to chair the Board since it was formed in 1963. The Port of San Diego is a self-supporting public benefit corporation that oversees the protection and development of public tidelands surrounding San Diego Bay.

Delena Sunday, vice president, director, corporate diversity affairs for Nordstrom in Seattle, WA, has been promoted to vice president of diversity affairs. Sunday, Nordstrom's top Black executive, is responsible for the company's diversity initiatives in the areas of recruitment, employment and promotion, employee training, minority and women-owned business development and community outreach.
