EBONY FASHION FAIR 2001 KICK-OFF RECEPTION: Mrs. Eunice W. Johnson (2nd, 1), EBONY Fashion Fair producer-director, is joined by Frankie Sutherland, the Chicago Inter-Alumni Council (CIAC) general chairperson for the show, Lisa Rollins, area development director, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), and Dr.
Rubye Taylor-Drake, CIAC president, at a reception hosted by Johnson Publishing Company at its headquarters in Chicago to kick off ticket sales for the Chicago performance of the 44th Annual EBONY Fashion Fair. Below, Mrs. Johnson congratulates her assistant Ken Owen, and Jada Jackson, the show's commentator, on the fabulous mini-fashion show Owen coordinated for the enthusiastic crowd of ticket sales volunteers. Mrs. Louise Chester celebrates her individual sale of one million tickets during her tenure with the Chicago show as a volunteer. Other top ticket sellers celebrating are Willa Milhouse, Deloris McJunkins, honorary general chair, Patricia Burns, Dr. Essie Harris and Christine Trailor. Volunteers for ticket sales were also on hand. They included Sabrina Hall, Alexine Wilson-Bey, James Adams, Zellner Barry, Derry Smith, Debra Harris, Doris Johnson, Demetrius Moragne and Sandra Barnes, Denise Napolez, Erma Kirksey and Linda Coleman.
