* This Far By Faith: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams of Compton, CA, recently celebrated 60 years of wedded bliss. Bill Williams and his wife of six decades, Myrtle, both 84, are the operators of their own florist shop, Bill Williams Florist, in Compton. The Williamses have run the florist for more than four decades. They are believed to be the oldest living, active husband-wife Black florists in the nation.
