Marvin S. Arrington, former Atlanta City Council president, was appointed to a newly created seat on the Fulton County Superior Court by Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes. A senior partner of Arrington & Hollowell, Arrington has practiced in the areas of civil litigation, white-collar crime, administrative law and corporate law.
He was one of the first two Blacks to graduate from Emory University Law School.
