Congressional Black Caucus Foundation names new president

Weldon J. Rougeau was recently named president of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., (CBCF) headquartered in Washington D.C.

Rougeau is a seasoned executive with more than three decades of experience in law, government, financial services, higher education, civil rights and health care.

As president, Rougeau is the chief executive officer of the Foundation. In this capacity, he also interacts with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, leaders of minority-focused groups and organizations, state and local legislators, business leaders and organized labor.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Rougeau was vice president of corporate responsibility and chief compliance officer at Loyola University Health System in Chicago.

He received a bachelor of science degree from Loyola University of Chicago and a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School.

The CBCF is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization focused on research, leadership, education, housing, economic development and public policy in the United States and abroad.
