SAFE AT HOME: Kevin Funches (c) hugs his grandmother, Etta Moody (1), as they share time together along with his mother, JoAnn Cannon, when he returned home from the hospital in Houston, TX, after recently being rescued from an open storm sewer drain where he was trapped for four days. Funches, who is 41, fell through an open manhole cover on a Wednesday and remained there until he was rescued by firefighters that Saturday.
Funches was unconscious for much of the time spent in the hole, but once he came to he was able to call for help using his cell phone.
