The bride is a writer/producer for Bloomberg L.P. in New York City. She is a graduate of Illinois State University. The groom is an attorney with the firm of Kenyon & Kenyon in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla and the Franklin Pierce Law Center.

* Cheers To Us: LaDerrick Bullock wed Tara Wyche at the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, NJ. The bride, a resident physician at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ, is a graduate of the New Jersey Medical School and Rutgers University. The bridegroom, a resident dentist at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, is a graduate of the New Jersey Dental School and North Carolina Central University. The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise. They will live in Nutley, NJ.

* Our Souls Sing: Alejandro Jose Hutchins and Vaneisa LaShawn Matthews married at the Pristine Wedding Chapel in McDonough, GA. A graduate of Johnson C. Smith University and Clark-Atlanta University, the bride is a licensed clinical social worker with the state of Georgia. A graduate of Morehouse College, the groom is a software engineer for Hewlett-Packard. They honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii, and will reside in Mableton, GA.

* Queen Of His Heart: Harold A. Clay, Jr. tied the knot with LaTasha K. Williams at Dillard University of New Orleans' Lawless Memorial Chapel in New Orleans. The bride, a graduate of Dillard University and Xavier University of Louisiana, is a mental health counselor for the Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Louisiana. The groom, a graduate of Dillard University and Tulane University of New Orleans, is a counselor.

* So It Was Written: Tyrone Houston and the former Trudy Yolanda Eaddy joined as one at the Monumental Baptist Church in Florence, SC. A graduate of Francis Marion University, the bride is an information resource consultant for Clemson University. A graduate of South Carolina State University, the groom works for General Electric's Turbine Division in Greenville, SC. The loving twosome will begin their new life by living in Greenville.

* Prayer Pays Off: Mr. and Mrs. Chester Buford commemorated six decades of love and happiness with family and friends during a dinner reception at Mr. D. Villa in Hammond, IN. Mrs. Betty Buford is a homemaker. Her devoted mate of 60 years retired from the U.S. Steel Mill 15 years ago. The Bufords are the parents of eight. They have 36 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
