CHARGES DROPPED: Portland Trail Blazers' Damon Stoudamire is followed out of the Lewis County Courthouse in Chehalis, WA, by reporters after he agreed to attend drug and alcohol counseling and stay out of legal trouble for a year to have misdemeanor marijuana charges against him dropped. Stoudamire and teammate Rasheed Wallace were passengers in a vehicle that was stopped for speeding Nov.

22 on a highway outside Chehalis following a game against Seattle. A search turned up a small amount of marijuana, police said. Stoudamire, Wallace and driver Ed Smith of Portland were cited and released. Smith appeared with Stoudamire in the 7-minute hearing and agreed to the same terms. "I appreciate everything, all the support, and we'll stay out of trouble," Stoudamire said as he left the courthouse.
