Lasting Spirit: Mr. and Mrs. Darren Barnes exchanged sacred marital vows during an enchanted, double-ring ceremony at Salem Baptist Church in Chicago. The bride, Dawn Chandere Pettway, is a graduate of Loyola University. She is a child welfare advanced specialist at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
The groom is a graduate of Devry University. He is a systems analyst at Hewett Associates. The happy couple honeymooned on a Hawaiian cruise.
